2023 ZOTOVICH ESTATE ROSE

Our 2023 Rose of Grenache is done in a lighter Provencal-style, which preserves the wines acidity and vibrant fruit character, making this the perfect pairing for warm weather cuisine of Spring and Summer. The nose is full of bright white and red cherry, with notes of watermelon and strawberry. On the palate, the wine’s bright acidity lifts the cherry, strawberry and watermelon elements, all of which are underscored by Zotovich’s clean limestone note. 100% Grenache, 100% Stainless Steel, aged for only 6 months to capture the wine’s purity and focus. 2023 ZOTOVICH ESTATE VIOGNIER

An Ode to our love of the Condrieu region of the Rhone Valley in France, this New World take is a worthy cousin. An expressive nose of honeysuckle and Orange blossoms, with notes of honeydew and sweet grass. A bright acidity contrasts the wines sweet nose, with an intriguing mineral note in the long finish. This refreshing Viognier ages in 100% stainless steel for 6 months.

2021 ZOTOVICH ESTATE CHARDONNAY

Our flagship white wine is a textbook version of Santa Rita Hills Chardonnay in every vintage. The 2021 has a nose of pear and baked apple notes are followed by citrus scents of honeyed lemon with a freshness minerality underlining the wine’s acidity. The palate holds a combination of candied lemon zest, with notes of browned butter and fresh flowers, complimenting the wines briny minerality.  This Chardonnay ages in 33% new French oak,(Francois Freres) for 18 months.

2022 ZOTOVICH ESTATE PINOT NOIR

Our mainstay Pinot Noir, a perfectly classic expression of the grape from our estate vineyard in the cool Sta. Rita Hills. The pure nose of ripe cherry and dried strawberry is followed by Asian spice and sweet smoke notes and a suggestion of truffles, that showcases the purity Santa Rita Hills are known for. The palate is driven by red fruit and spice flavors supported by great acidity and fine tannins. This layered and supple Pinot finishes with fruit and spice notes that carry on for a long finish. This Pinot Noir aged in 100% French oak, 17% new, for 18 months.

2021 ESTATE GRENACHE

A rare example of cool climate Grenache, this wine has a red-purple color, with a gorgeous nose of raspberry fruit and spice, full-bodied, creamy, lush, and rich in texture and flavors with additional elements of sweet rhubarb pie, hints of mint and chocolate. On the palate, the fresh, vibrant raspberry fruit enjoys bright acidity (rare in Grenache) and firm, round tannins carry the wine into a long, focused finish. With youthful complexity and still evolving, we suggest decanting before enjoying or cellaring for a few years for maximum enjoyment.

Compositional Clones: Massal planting (mixed clones), 18 months 100% French Oak neutral barrels.

 
 
 

2020 Zotovich Syrah

Our Syrah presents an enticing inky, dark red to purple hue in the glass, hinting at its depth and concentration. The aroma opens with a captivating blend of sweet spice, drawing you in with its alluring complexity. Notes of cinnamon, clove, and a touch of nutmeg dance delicately atop a rich foundation of dark fruit. On the palate, this cool climate Syrah reveals its depth and character. Layers of ripe blackberries and plums unfold, underscored by subtle hints of blueberries. The sweet spice observed on the nose continues to weave its way through the tasting experience, adding a comforting warmth and complexity.
